A Little Bit About Me:
I grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia and attended both Massaponax High School and The Commonwealth Governor’s School. Currently, I am a senior student at Virginia Tech studying Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology (and earning two Bachelor’s degrees!) with minors in Leadership and Social Change as well as Peace Studies and Violence Prevention. I am involved in research at the Child Study Center at Virginia Tech and the CALMER Lab, a Student Advisor for the Service Without Borders organization, and a sister of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. I enjoy spending time with my friends, running, reading, and traveling. I have been two 5/7 continents and am hoping to make it to the last 2 ASAP!
After my graduation from Virginia Tech, I hope to continue my research career and eventually become a professor. At the same time, I hope to continue traveling and engaging with different cultures and individuals. I have no concrete plans as of right now…which is simultaneously terrifying and exciting.
